Can I use 1/8 watt resistors for total recall in stead of 1/4 watt?
Yes, but you should use a 1/4W (or 1/2W) for R59 which is 10 Ohm.
You can likely use 1/8 watt resistors instead of 1/4 watt resistors for the Madbean Pedals Total Recall project, as the power dissipation in typical guitar pedal circuits is low enough to be within the 1/8 watt rating.
That's an interesting question about resistor wattage! While 1/8 watt resistors might work in some scenarios, it depends on the actual power dissipation in that specific circuit.
I use them if I don't have any other options.

I use 1/8 watt exclusively now. Which is why my pedals sound like ass.
Oh they do not...I like 1/8 because they're cheap and I use one of those little plastic benders so that the footprint to 1/4 is clean.

Ahhh, that's where the parts tester comes in handy. I tell myself it's to double check values but in reality I can barely see the color bands on the litte mf'ers

I wear my bifocals and then some readers on top of them. I have some jewelers glasses for. That extra third layer when needed.
