Title: IMP 2022 Build
Post by: Ny_racer_xxx on October 21, 2026, 02:13:49 AM
Got it built, seems to work as it should, the 1 O'clock on the volume and gain seem to be the sweet spot, but getting lots of noise with anymore than that, a little even at those settings.
Is that normal with that board?  I soldered the diodes in, I think I'm going to pull them and put transistor jacks in to try a couple of different ones, so I'll double check everything, just wondering if that's the way they are.

What kind of noise, white noise, motorboating etc? If you are also dialing up the tone control at the same time it's possible you might have a little bit of noise but it shouldn't be overwhelming or anything.
