Just scored a WH4 for £70 off ebay.
What bargains have you secured recently?
Also, a mn3005 I took a chance on eBay just came in...wish me luck?
Good score on the WH4 and good luck with the mn3005 :)
I flip a fair few pedals and have had some nice scores and some pretty cool stuff pass through.
Most recent of note are Mint carbon copy for £40, Zoom Ultra fuzz £19, Fulltone choralflange for £60, Boss dc-2 £40 , DC-3 for £27.
But i think so far my two biggest scores have been a Sola Sound Tonebender for £89 and a Mint in case American Standard 1998 Strat for £200. :-[
damn dude you are kicking my ass.
That Zoom Ultra Fuzz I have one of them think I paid a similar amount. REALLY good pedal. What do you think?
It does a great clean / grit boost, as well as everything a fuzz factory does pretty much.
Great scores all round there.
My best score in terms of value (not instrument) was picking up an Ibanez 7 string for $55 because the music shop forgot a zero on the price tag. Sold it on ebay three days later for $400. Either that, or the Hamer I picked up (some shredder model) for $70, partsed it out for $500.
My best score in terms of instruments would be my squier Pro Tone Strat, which I picked up for $150, because the seller didn't realize what they had. Easily my nicest playing strat, and I have/had about 20.
mn3005 is for real ! woop
I picked up my '67 Bassman for 300 bucks. All it needed was a new fuse :)
I found a Crybaby on the street once.

no shit? hahah thats amazing.
Seriously! It was missing the bottom plate for some reason, but still...free Crybaby.
I traded a tattoo of a rose with the guy's mothers name under it for a '78 stratocaster. It was far from mint condition but I like worn out looking instruments.

Some other sweet scores I landed:
A Marshall shredmaster, in exchange for my modded crybaby...
And a HBE germania I was given, because the owner used the wrong power supply. Replaced the electro caps, and diodes, and it's good as new ;D
i got a music man 65w amp off craigslist for $120. The only problem was the grill cloth was torn. I think i got a good deal.
i reprogramed a guys sprinklers once for pink floyd tickets
My best score was probably a MIJ Silver Screw "long dash" Boss DS-1 that cost me 20€. I then traded it for a Wren and Cuff "The Caprid" with the builder that makes these wonderfull pedals (a very nice guy buy the way).
I once bought 5 BBE Green Screamers at a GC clearance for $10 each and sold them on ebay for $50 each. Easy $200.
The most complicated deal I've ever done is bought a Dr. Distorto Mono Line 6 Tonecore pedal that wouldn't work with a battery for $10 (I use a PS all the time anyway.)
I then bought 2 Verbzilla modules from line 6 before they went out of stock for $20 each.
I sold one of the Verbzilla modules on ebay to an international buyer for $70 and the Dr. Distorto module for $30.
I threw my Verbzilla module into my mono dock and modded it for stereo operation.
Now I have a Stereo Verbzilla and $50(give or take for shipping expenses)
Just picked up some 1977 V3 muffage for a whopping £25 !!!!
Nice Muff!
My wonderful wife once found a crybaby and two old DOD's for $2 at a garage sale. One of them was the DFX9, can't remember what the other was... She was awesome enough to call me and I was like, 'YES!!! Buy it all!". Sold it all on ebay for something like $80.
