Hi, I'm just about to start to put my chunk chunk together.
I have a 5k pot but the only resistor i have is a 4.7k, is this close enough?
I know it states a 5.1k but i don't want to order one resistor if i can help it!!

I think that will be OK.
5k parallel with 4k7 is 2.4227
5k parallel with 5k1 is 2.5248
+ - tolerances of course
