Title: 2-in-1 Wiring Question
Post by: thetrend77 on January 25, 2012, 07:16:33 PM
I found a diagram for wiring 2 effects in one enclosure, but is it possible to wire a 2-in-1 using gtr2(Josh)'s 3PDT boards?

These: (http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7141/6722781857_cb645b3e61_z.jpg)

I'd like to be able to use those to cut down on the wiring inside my enclosure. If it's possible can someone please draw a diagram for me? Oh and the 2 effects I'm putting in an enclosure are both on vero, if that makes any difference. Thanks!

It's really simple. Whenever you do a 2 in 1 pedal, you treat each pedal as sperately wired but wire the 'out' of the first switch to the 'in' of the second. So in the case of Josh's boards, on the left there were it says "OJ", connect those two pads to the "IJ" on the second switch. Done.

I actually started working on this tonight and I have another question...

Which one of the wiring boards do I wire the DC jack to? Or do I run wires to both?
