Title: Low Rider Help
Post by: Helloimjohn1234 on February 15, 2012, 05:10:44 AM
Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and just completed my first build, the Low Rider. I was really excited to hear this pedal in person, but to my dismay, it does not work. I was wondering if anybody had a pic of their completed build and how they wired it. I could have made a simple mistake in the wiring and not be able to see it. The pedal passes signal while bypassed, the LED turns on but no signal goes through the circuit. Any thoughts on what I should check first?? Thanks!

First thing to check is that you have the in and out wired the right way round... easiest way to check is to swap the guitar and amp around and see if it works...
BTW Hi and welcome to the forum :)

Thanks for the reply, just tried your suggestion but no dice.. I had the wiring verified today, so i suspect something on the board. After closer examination, I suspect that I might have a short under one of the electrolytic caps due to excess solder. I'll do some more investigating and post an update in the next few days.
