Title: Wht to do with On On ON dpdt toggle switches?
Post by: Bored on February 19, 2012, 11:59:59 AM
I just found a fistful of on on on dpdt toggles, and I dont know what to do with them as the majority of DIY pedals use on off on.
Can I use these in place of the on off on, or are there projects that use on on on ?

Suggestions?

You could use one for switching diodes in a clipping circuit, giving you 3 options, or 2 options and the center for no clipping, which results in more of a clean boost sound. Or use them for switching capacitors in a Bright switch (as in the Green Bean), multiple options there.....
