Title: lavache with no boost?
Post by: midwayfair on March 21, 2012, 08:39:53 PM
If I want or need to leave out the Lavache's boost switch (it's going in a 1590a and space may be tighter than I like with the extra switch), do I just jumper the transistor leg to ground, leave everything on that part of the schematic out (i.e., nothing between the tranny and ground), or do I need to leave in any of the resistors?

If you want to leave the boost "always on" then use a jumper for R5 instead of the 3M3 resistor. Leave the Boost pads empty.

If you want the boost always off, leave off R5 AND C2 and do not use any jumpers.
