Title: Something ain't right in overdrive land
Post by: GermanCdn on April 11, 2012, 11:33:40 AM
So, in the midst of my ridiculous amount of builds (supposed to have been complete in March, but an unexpected trip overseas kinda bumped that), and I've run across the same problem in two separate builds - a RAT type pedal and a Blues Pro build.  Both pedals pass signal, but the sound coming out is closer to what my bass synth pedal or Wooly Mammoth sounds like than what an od/dist should (a lot more fuzz than it should have).  If it was one or the other I'd just assume bad components, but since they're both not working right, I'm thinking maybe it's a grounding issue with some signal leaking to ground?  Anyone have similar experiences?
