Title: noob .... 18v Wallwart polarity question ?
Post by: DLM on April 18, 2012, 02:54:10 AM
Hello , I have a 18v 1 amp wallwart  with a center positive . I want to change it to center negative . I pulled apart and was wondering , if I switched the wires on it to make the pedal plug to center negative  would it damage the wallwart  ? Thanks

I just did it on a 12v. Cut the cord halfway'ish, heat shrink real good. I even used wire tires on both ends of the heat shrink and in the middle as I'm OCD and in case I step on it or some other dumb thing.
