Is Chunk Chunk Battery friendly? 
Or should I just skip trying to fit a battery in the enclosure?

I can't imagine the circuit to be particularly power-hungry, since it has no IC's or anything. The circuit is sensitive to power supply noise which makes batteries pretty attractive. However, the biasing may be sensitive to drops in supply voltage, meaning the sound of circuit may change slightly as the battery slowly dies.

I"m still too much of a noob at all this to know how to tell if something will be power hungry or not, and I was kind of looking for an excuse to be lazy  ;D.

Anyway, got it all jammed into the enclosure finally.
This is a cool pedal, been having a couple hours of fun with it.
