Title: LF347 chip for boneyard
Post by: pryde on April 28, 2012, 12:25:06 AM
Is there an alternative for the LF347 chip that can be used in the boneyard?

I am looking to source all parts from one supplier and they dont have this one.

Thanks

where are you shopping?
tl074 would probably be the easiest to source but similar chips are the njm074 and tle2074.

yeah, looks like they don't have it.  i got mine from tayda.
looking at the data sheet, the lf347 is just a jfet quad opamp and that's exactly what the tl074cn is.  they appear to have the same pinsout as well so it should work to get the pedal up & running.  you could always change over to the 347 later if you want.

Mouser has over a thousand of 'em: http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Texas-Instruments/LF347N/?qs=sGAEpiMZZMtCHixnSjNA6CumnoLUElGj1I8OIeSCbDA%3d

Mouser Part #: 595-LF347N

I know, however, mouser does not carry pcb mounted pots (that I can find)
