Title: TS 808 clone help
Post by: alexbiggs on May 05, 2012, 09:49:01 AM
Hey! I made a forum earlier about radio interference. Turns out I just needed to get it insulated. ANYWAY, I have got it all working with the two pots in the actual box and one out. The pots in are the overdrive and tone. The other one is being really weird. It cuts out the signal completely and I can't hear anything when it touches the metal enclosure. I checked to see if it was linking things but didn't seem so. Could there just be a problem with the ground wire? Thanks.

This makes it sound like it is sending signal straight to ground (your enclosure). Make sure the lugs of the pot/wires connected to them aren't touching ground and you should be ok.

If that doesn't help, make another topic in the tech-help forum--include pictures! and we can help sort it out
