Title: Firebomb input impedance 10Meg/ohm
Post by: Zerstorte Zelle on May 29, 2012, 09:43:46 PM
Would I be correct in saying the Firebomb has an input impedance of 10Meg/ohm?

Only if you built it with 20M resistors in R1 and R2.

But impedance isn't quite that simple. I don't fully understand it. I think if you were to just ballpark it, you'd say that 1/2 of R1 and R2's value would be your impedance. With 10M resistors, you'd be looking at ~5M impedance.

For what it's worth, I think 2.2M is just fine in those spots.

thanks just checking there. i have seen around the internet the production model is billed at 5 meg ohms.
