Title: Mangler GE Fuzz Face
Post by: murdog47 on June 08, 2012, 06:12:30 PM
I think I say this every new build, but this is one of my favorites yet! Sounds better than any overpriced Fuzz Face I've ever played on  ;D Thanks to everyone that helped me out on this one!

Very cool. I don't know why, but it reminds me of something you'd see in a Tim Burton film.

simple, cool :)

I have to ask; is the photo / angle playing a game on me, or is it some unusually sized box?

From the looks of it it is one of the Hammond TRPB's, with the wide part down where the switch is. I love the look of those boxes!

Yep, it's a Hammond Trapezoid enclosure. You can get them prefinished from mouser. Just search "stomp" and you get a bunch of options  ;)

Nice build!  Love that enclosure.  Somebody should do an Easter Island themed build with one :)
