Title: Shoot The Moon Troubles
Post by: mjcyates on June 22, 2012, 08:14:11 PM
I am having difficulties getting my Shoot The Moon build to function properly. Bypass works fine. Indicator LED works fine. The LFO LED and LFO Indicator LED both work fine and change with changes to the Rate pot. When the pedal is engaged all I am getting is a knocking, popping, clicking type noise that is in sync with the LFO indicator LED. Any idea what could be causing this?

Many things could cause that, but perhaps the most likely culprit is a bad solder joint or other mistake on the board. Have you worked anything for debugging steps?

Haven't done any in depth de-bugging yet. Just thought I would throw it out there first to see if anyone else had a similar problem. Thanks.

Should be able to track it down with an audio probe  :)

Turns out it was just a bad chip!
