Title: Unlabelled Component holes ROG May Queen
Post by: Guybrush on June 27, 2012, 06:41:30 PM
I'm just organising my ever growing list of future builds and came across the Run Off Groove May Queen pedal.  It looks simple enough to build but I was just wondering what the unlabelled holes on the PCB are for?  I've seen them on other PCBs but never thought to ask.

Thanks.

If you look at the layout, those holes connect to other holes that are labeled: GND.

You can never have enough GND points.  :D

The other holes next to the caps are for using caps with different lead spacing.

I thought it would be a ground thing but the spare holes next to the caps threw me a bit.  Thanks guys.  If you follow the standard wiring diagram is there any need to wire up extra ground points?
