Title: The Death by Audio guy fronts A Place to Bury Strangers
Post by: Bret608 on June 29, 2012, 02:21:58 PM
I had no idea of this connection. Check this out:

Reminds me of the Cymbals Eat Guitars/Small Sound Big Sound connection.

No big point I'm trying to make here or anything...just cool that there are more effects builders out there who grew up listening to the same music I did!

QuoteThere's no denying that A Place to Bury Strangers' Oliver Ackermann knows his way around an effects pedal;

I think that's a taking a bit of license with the phrase "knows his way around". He certainly knows how to sell them, though.

;)  I'll say! The Edge ordered everything he makes in one blow?

The album review is less than flattering too in spots...

Right you are...they're on the mark sometimes but I do tend to take them with a grain of salt!
