Title: Neptune Delay
Post by: pickdropper on July 05, 2012, 12:02:44 PM
Built another delay.  CultureJam's cool board this time.

Cured the epoxy in the oven, which yellowed the label a bit.  Trying to decide if I like that effect or if I should change it.  Going to leave it a while and see.

The artwork is kinda neat, with the yellowing it looks like a 1930s comic book cover, a little bit. And that wiring...  8)

I think the yellowing looks nice ... it might actually be too bright if it had stayed pure white.

The wiring in your builds really makes me feel kind of inadequate ... :)

Really nice finish, I love the vintage yellowish tone. Will finish my neptune soon and post it too  :)

If you didn't say that the yellowing was an accident, I would not have thought anything of it. Looks perfectly fine to me. Leave it.
Cool graphic by the way.

What's your impression of the pitch-bendy stuff?

My impression is that it is fun and funky.  I am still trying to figure out how to use it when playing with other folks.
