Title: Road Rage for 9+ & 9-
Post by: njkke on July 17, 2012, 05:33:27 PM
Hi guys!
I want to build a Woody Acoustic Simulator and the circuit requires 9+ and 9- or two batteries.
Can I use the Road Rage in this project? Should I use the "-9v operation" layout?
Thanx  ???

It can be done with a single 9V battery.

Just make a V.Ref... I think there's a schematic for a version with that already done.

The Woody (9+/9-) is smaller than the other version... I need a small pcb and with the road rage I can fit it in a box that I had already drilled

As long as you don't draw more current than the charge pump can handle (most non-didital pedals should be okay), the Road Rage can do this.  Just build it for the -9V specs and then tap both the 9V and -9V outputs.
