Title: PCB Etching screwed up? Zombii
Post by: Guybrush on July 18, 2012, 03:17:06 PM
Hey there.

Just tried my first self etch board.  I've just transferred the layout from the Prss'n'Peel onto the copper board but it looks (to my eyes) like it's gone wrong. The bits in the blue circles have 'bled' into the background. Does this matter or is it ok?

Thanks

Those are all ground points, so you should be fine.  The etch design just separates those pads from the ground plane to keep your solder under control (and maybe to make them more obvious).
