Title: Black on Black Muff.
Post by: jimmybjj on July 22, 2012, 10:35:40 PM
My first muff type pedal. Don't really know what is sounds like yet. Moving and don't have access to my main amp, only the crap champ. This one was build to violet specs.

I'm pretty happy how the finish came out on this one, it took alot of experimenting to get this one right. If the pics don't show it the fonting is raised. I wanted to find some silver knobs for this one but could find any local that were small enough. Layout is my own. Extra jumbo filter cap, just because I thought it looked neat :)

Thats looks incredible!  I reckon those black knobs set it off!
Your enclosure work is sublime Jim, and as usual the insides are immaculate. Love it

I look at that pedal and I wonder how much more black could it be?

The answer is none, none more black.

Super tidy build too!

Concept is easy, execution not so much. Prep enclosure, vinyl plotter to cut the image, powder coat over. The hard part was finding a vinyl would survive the cure that didn't cost alot of money. Find a temp the powder would properly cure at and didn't melt the vinyls. And the duration at which to cure.

Satin Muff.  There it is!  type-o is perfect.

My wife always asks me if I made another of those vagina drives (my BMP nickname).

Looks killer, embossed labelling is win!

I once used a gigantic electro in a Bazz Fuss, looked awesome! ;D

Are you using a 0ohm resistor for the bypass link on the 3PDT?

If yes, i may start doing that just to go through the stash...
