Title: Can I fudge C16 on the Sparklehorn?
Post by: mgwhit on August 07, 2012, 03:09:03 AM
Building a Sparklehorn (http://www.madbeanpedals.com/projects/Sparklehorn/Sparklehorn.pdf), and it's my first PT2399 delay.  It was a bit of a rush job so I didn't order parts specifically for it.  Finished populating the board tonight except for the 15n cap at C16 -- didn't have it.  I've got 10n and 22n available.  Is this a value I can fudge, and if so how will it affect the circuit.  I can't tell if it's a tone filter or if it affects timing.  Thanks!

10n is fine there. You could probably go as low as 4n7.
