Title: would these work well as signal isolation transformers?
Post by: jimijam on August 08, 2012, 05:13:32 PM
found these while researching a project and was wondering if they would work well to eliminate ground loop hum when used as isolaters.

I am just starting to read up on transformers and would like someone with a little more wisdom on this stuff to chime in. I could definately use some of these from time to time (if they do what I think they will)

You'll need something more like this from Weber:

Edcor has something similar, probably better quality:

Then you get into the high zoot stuff, Jensen (http://www.jensen-transformers.com/), Cinemag (http://www.cinemag.biz/), Sowter (http://www.sowter.co.uk/).
