Title: Paul Trombetta Mini Bone?
Post by: mjcyates on August 31, 2012, 11:02:08 PM
I am really liking the sound of this pedal from online demos. Does anyone here have any details on it? I would love to build one.

It's a modded Bosstone (straight from Paul's keyboard) with voltage sagging involved. Paul's a really cool guy and there's a thread on FSB about it, but no gutshots or schematics anywhere.

I built this last weekend and was just messing with it tonight. It's really cool:

I went ahead and posted my layout on that thread, too.

My speculation is that it also has an input buffer/booster added, because I get something that sounds closer when I run a compressor in front and turn it up.
