Title: Tonebender Professional MKII (NOS U.S. PNP Transistors)
Post by: Stomptown on September 15, 2012, 04:04:43 AM
Here is a Tonebender Professional MKII that I built using a Tonepad PCB (I wish Madbean made the 2 knob version of the Tonebender). I used NOS U.S. germanium PNP transistors from Smallbear and they sound great! I like the way the MKII looks so I based my graphic design on the original. Check it out and let me know what you think...

Thanks! They are tantalum caps. I didn't have any audio grade electrolytics so I went with these. It sounds great!

I like it !
Isn't too trebly without
the 0.01uF cap connect to input to ground ?

Thanks! Not too trebly at all. It sounds like a germanium fuzz should IMO...
