Title: Kingslayer prebuild question...
Post by: jalmonsalmon on September 19, 2012, 04:38:23 PM
 Hey all,

I just got my parts in for the kingslayer and I accidentally ordered for R19 a 392R resistor instead of 392k
I happen to have a 330k laying around and am wondering if that would work or do I need to do another order for that resistor?

thanks!

if you have a 56k or 68k you could solder one of those together with your 330k and kind of "tepee" them into the 2 holes.  _/\_

resistors in series like that are added together, giving you approx 386k-398k.  as they say, that's probably close enough for rock.  that way you wouldn't have to pay shipping again.

Just by luck I happen to have a few 62k carbon film resistors that will get me there!
I will try the tepee thing

Thanks!

ah, 62k is even better then.  that should work just fine!
