Hi,
I recently bought a Chunk Chunk pcb. I'm new to pedal building. The .pdf file for the Chunk Chunk lists the parts required for the PCB however it doesn't list all the parts required to build the actual unit. Am I right in thinking that the following list is what's needed:
6 Knobs
1 Footswitch
1 Input Jack
1 Output Jack
1 9VDC Input Jack
1 9V Battery Connector
1 9V Battery Holder
1 LED
PCB Standoffs
Hookup Wire
Have I forgotten anything? Any advice as to which brands are good?

Yes you will also need the enclosure itself Probably a 1590BB for that build but the build doc should specify.
Also, reference the standard wiring diagram for all the "extra" parts needed to complete a pedal. Note the extra 4.7k resistor needed for your LED as well!

also, there is the led bezel/holder if you choose to use one.
a couple of other things.
i could be wrong but I think this particular pcb doesn't have holes for pcb standoffs, but it is held in place effectively by the pcb mounted potentiometers.
there are lots of builders who don't use a battery holder so I would consider that optional. if you use a multi effect power supply you may even choose not to install a battery at all in which case you could eliminate the battery holder and the snap. If no battery is installed you can use 2 ts mono jacks instead of 1 mono and 1 stereo trs.
as far as brands go, I'm not very picky, so I'll leave that question for someone else.

I'm not familiar with PCB-mount pots - could you point me to a link showing the type of pot that is required.
Yes it looks like the newest chunk has pcb mounted pots. This is very good thing since the circuit has 6 pots :D It will save you a lot of wiring time.
Basically the pots will have pins that fit into the pcb and then you just solder em' Here is the style you need. These come in audio (A) taper, and linear (B) taper so make sure you get what the build doc suggests.

You need a DMM as well, but that is maybe obvious?

Those dust covers are good for making sure the base of the pot does not contact any solder joints on the PCB and thereby shorting them.

I'm liking 22AWG much more than 24AWG now---it's a bit stronger and holds position well.

also, for a high gain circuit like this you should probably try to use mostly metal film resistors (the blue ones) as opposed to carbon film (brownish). The metal films are generally believed to be less noisy than carbon films and that could come into play with loads of distortion.
