Title: I've made a very silly mistake.
Post by: jonrhee on September 27, 2012, 01:38:57 AM
I've somehow managed to etch my PCB for my kingslayer backwards.

Would this PCB still work? Theoretically, the same connections are being made, just the layout is backwards from the original.

I've had that before, I had to solder all the ICs on the bottom, pain and tricky but it worked.

Plus following the layout was really confusing, have to be sure of orientations of everything (this was an EHX attack decay though which has probably 200+ compoments... probably alright in this case).

But as long as everything connects as it should, it can be used, electrons wont flow the wrong way cause the PCB is backwards.

Good luck! And take your time with it  :)

Same here, have to solder the IC on the bottom of the board. Little tricky and takes up a lot of real estate. May not fit in your enclosure, especially if it's sitting on pots. Might work in a 1590BB.
