Title: Cave dweller 100% wet mod?
Post by: rollo greb on September 28, 2012, 05:20:16 PM
Is there an easy way to add a switch to make the cave dweller 100% wet?

Yep, you can install it in the dry path. Simple mod.

Thanks, I'm a bit of a newbie and I'm trying to see on the schematic where a good place for the switch would be. I don't have a lot of knowledge about IC's and I'm trying to understand what the LPF and OP inputs and outputs are and what they are being used for.

I'm also interested in this mod. I've looked at the schematic, and for the life of me can't figure out where the best place to cut the dry path would be. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I think I spoke before looking it up.

If this were a typical PT2399 which uses a dry path and a mix knob, yes, this would be an easy mod. But because of the way the Cave Dweller is, a %100 wet is not in the cards.

Sorry guys.
