Title: Collaboration, makes it happen. Collaboration, working together!
Post by: jkokura on October 25, 2012, 08:03:28 PM
Thanks to Scott, this pedal looks waaay better than my usual plain jane.

The Glitz is a Glitch Computer clone. Rad circuit. Sort of like a glitchy fuzz, with a -2 octave note added in. Originally I was getting some weird noise on the bypass. I raised the output cap value, and it seems to be doing better.

Very cool build Jacob! What kind of glue did you use to glue the covering on the enclosure? I'd love to try that myself.......

I did the enclosure and Jacob did the electronics. I used the Mod Podge white glue to attach the fabric (its available at any craft store and even Walmart). Then I label it and do another layer or two. After that I clear coat with Polyurethane to seal it. Its a water based glue so you have to clear it with something after.

Yep, you did Ian, and supplied some of the parts!

It should be noted I am interested in doing many collaboration builds.

I'd be more than willing to contribute some guts for a collaboration project, but finishing enclosures is not my strongest point.... Might be nice to take this underground (PM's) and prepare some stuff for the holidays?
