Would using a 680K for R1 instead of the 750k make any difference?

It will make the effect very slightly louder and very slightly brighter. However, you might find it too loud without a corresponding reduction in the input cap.
You can also put a 68k in series with it to get closer to 750k.
Thanks, I think I will just wait on the 750k, I'm not to thrilled with the idea of a teepee resistor. Oh, by the way, I got my chunk chunk built and it is freakin awesome. It is very bright though, not a big deal as I dialed the treble down on my amp. I read that changing one of the capacitor values helped, can anyone point me in the direction as to which cap and value.
You can change C15 to a higher value to alter the total amount of treble. Try 10n.
