Title: Transistor Question
Post by: budrevo on November 30, 2010, 05:37:10 PM
I have quite a few 2n2905a transistors on hand would that be useful in any of your circuits? once the new boards come in im going to order a few anyway!

thanks

The best thing to do is to start googling and find as much info as possible. For instance, I typed 2N2905 into google, and it instantly brought up a datasheet for me to look at.

The 2N2905 is a PNP switching transistor in a TO-39 package. So, logically, if you have a circuit that could use a PNP switching diode and will fit a TO-39 type transistor, you could try it out. The 2N3906 is one that pops up when I again use Google.

Google is your part friend.
