Title: Wooden enclosure
Post by: icecycle66 on December 04, 2012, 07:42:25 PM
Do you know anyone who makes wooden enclosures or boxes that could be used as enclosures?

Never mind, the internet is full of them.

I just had to change the words I was using.

Yeah, you gotta be careful how you search for wood on the internet.

Ehh...gross.  :(

I was searching fo stuff like:
wooden enclosure
wooden pedal box
wooden project box

all that pedal builder stuff.

Go figure, searching for "wood box" gets you links to wood boxes.

that's a cool idea.
You could make some really nice looking pedals esp with the exotics

Then just paint up the inside: http://www.stewmac.com/shopby/item/0029?utm_source=google&utm_medium=shopping&utm_campaign=2012-12-gp&gclid=CJSe6amOg7QCFQUFnQod0H0ACQ

Cant wait to see what you make.

I usually go to Joanns (crafty foo-foo emporium) and go to the unfinished wood section.
They have small stash boxes pre made. seal them with zpoxy and a squeege to toughen them up.
Stewie-Mac is cool with everything you need, just pay attention to what your buying. They will mark up a screwdriver 500% if your not careful. They like to relabel things so you dont know where else to get stuff.
