Title: Smoothie IC Question
Post by: kinski on December 20, 2012, 06:06:42 PM
So I'm accidentally short one TL072. Could I use a TL082?

Technically, yes.  They can be used in place of eachother.
The datasheet schems are the same.

However, I don't know the impact of sound the 82 will have instead of the 72.

Texas Instruments says that "The TL07x series are the low-noise versions of the TL08x series amplifiers."
