Title: Hammond Plastic

Has anybody played with the hammond plastic enclosures ?
i was wondering how they held up. can they handle a footswitch ?
looking at 1599HTS it has a nice shape

They will work just fine.

They may be more prone to breaking when stepped on than aluminium enclosures though  ;)

Also, don't forget they will be more prone to noise/interference as well (they are non conductive so will not act as a shield to intereference).

Although metal enclosures cost more than plastic, I believe the extra cost is worth it for the benefits you get.
