Title: Cupcake Trimmer question
Post by: Bman40 on January 12, 2013, 06:49:53 AM
I just populated the pcb for a cupcake build and I realized that I used a 20k trimmer for the Sustain ... The build docs call for a 10k.  My bad.... Can I leave it in there or should I replace it? I obviously don't have ones I used the 20 k.  Will it still work???

You can use it, but it'll be a little hard to adjust perfectly. If you can wait, I'd pick up a 10K.

Or even better, use one of these, which will allow you to bias it perfectly:

Thanks Jon

I'll see if I can find that ferment locally. I just did an order from Tayda and one part is too small an order.

I found pretty much the same trimmer at my parts source here in Vancouver.

Thanks for the tip.
