Title: My Dirtbag (How's it sound on bass?)
Post by: icecycle66 on February 03, 2013, 08:54:48 PM
Here's my Dirtbag.  Notify MENSA.
Its a v3205 model.  Nothing special, I really just wanted to get the on bass demo out there.

Great Job, Angelo! The repeats sound really interesting on the bass, like they aren't "stable" and shift upwards. Very different from the way they sound on guitar, where they turn telephonic.

Is that a 125B? Seems more roomy than some peoples' builds.

Im planning one of these at the moment, i think its amazing that you can even fit in all in there!  Still not sure how i'm going to lay mine out.

Paintjob looks great, sort of anadozied.

I've decided im going to call it the Hypno Toad Delay.  :)

Thanks.

No way it's a 125B.
It's an Anodized Red 1590 from PPP.

The echoes lose their bottom end as they go on into the future.  It's more apperant (of course) live, the first repeat holds the low pitch pretty well, as the repeats go on the lose the fatness and by the end it's just a sound more than a note.

Red anodized is teh sexy. And I agree with Jon... something about that actually does look roomier than my Dirtbags!
