Title: BumbleBee and nkt213 trans.
Post by: Gils on March 06, 2013, 10:17:34 PM
Hi,

This is my first pedal so this is a noob question.
I can't manage to find the nkt213 transistors. Searching Google it seems like it hard to find, and when I do find they aren't that cheap.
Which other transistors can I use as replacement?

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure the build document for the bumblebee offer suggestions already?
If it was me I'd order a nice tonebender set from smallbear.  OC75's would probably rule.

And welcome to the forum!  :)

I know what you mean about the nkt213s. My Buzzaround has nkt214s, which are really close. The guy who made it for me (Ghost Effects in the UK) did one during the same run with nkt 213s, but he gave it to some well-known guitarist!
