Title: Runt Resistor Question
Post by: thetrend77 on April 09, 2013, 09:12:56 PM
The Runt has 2x 47R resistors. All I have is 33R and 10R in my stash. If I teepee these, will the 43R be good enough? I'm thinking it will, but I'd like to get a surefire reply lol

Thanks!

edit: oops, misread the post.

If you really think it will be a while til you get any 47r I'd probably socket them for now.
I don't think you'll damage anything by using 43r, if it sounds ok then I wouldn't worry.

R12 is not a key value so 33R will work just fine (it just helps decouple the power supply). R4 may be more sensitive to value as it forms a filter with C6, so i would either teepee (43R is close enough) or wait for a proper 47R.

Cool, I figured it would be alright. Thanks for confirming.
