Title: Sub Tricolor for Bicolor LED?
Post by: das234 on April 10, 2013, 09:02:42 PM
When the plans call for bicolor LED but I only have tricolor LEDs, what do I do????  Can I just snip off one of the leads and ignore it?

That's exactly what you do, just make sure you don't clip the common.

or.... use small dia heatshrink tubing and just insulate the un-used lead :) saves ruining a perfectly good tri color  ;) (me being the cheap sob that I am)
