Title: Suggestions while I'm waiting for boards to arrive

I NEED to build something (know what I mean?). I have a couple matched PNP germaniums from Small bear, can anybody suggest a simple fuzz that I can build and have fun modifying? Be a good learning experience for me.

To add to this. It would have to be something I could etch so I could work on it right away.

1) What are the transistor gains?
2) Does it have to be only one circuit?
