Title: honeydripper pot question.
Post by: danwelsh on April 12, 2013, 03:28:04 AM
hi guys, just wondering if i subbed a smaller pot value for the fuzz pot on the honeydripper would i get more range? or would it have to be a higher value or would either even do anything different?

i believe the fuzz control actually acts like a blend control between the fuzz and clean signal, so changing the value won't really help.

what do you mean by "range" exactly?

It doesn't really seem like i'm getting a very big change between ccw and clockwise on the pot, there's a subtle difference or is that the way it's supposed to be?

Dan- are you sure that you have R3 and R2 correct? It has quite a bit of gain on tap and it should not be subtle.
