Title: Modulation Board
Post by: billstein on April 14, 2013, 09:59:59 PM
Just ordered a Multiplex Jr. board and because I wanted to be like all the cool kids I ordered a modulation board too. Now I'm sitting here wondering what a modulation board does? Does it add a tremolo or vibrato effect? A vibe effect? I know I need this but want to know what I need it for.

It modulates the delay time, which results in a vibrato effect. On lower depth settings it sounds chorusy, and higher depth will give you weird pitch bending effects. The MP Jr. includes that already btw, but you can add that board to any other pt2399 delay, and we all know that you can never build too many delays  ;D

My bad. I meant the Multiplex and not the Multiplex Jr. Thanks for the answer.
