Post by: octa805 on April 16, 2013, 12:25:35 AM
What is the preferred dual delay board out there?

I found this guy but I'm not sure? Thanks!

I have etched myself 2 of the ones from the aquaboy 2012 project doc.  I'm going to give them a shot in an ab dx.  I don't know enough about the different ones out there to say if it's preferred or not.

I tried one from sabro I think and it didn't work. The Aquaboy 2012 board worked first time. That is 2 boards, 4 BBD's on a Dirtbag deluxe.

sabro worked fine for me, but you couldnt get that much delay time outta 4 x mn3008s without clock noise kicking in pretty soonish, maybe from 400ms.

haha man. I cant win.

3205s are too slow and distorted

3008s get clock noise

3005s are fuzzin hard to get.

Even the BL3208's are out of stock on smallbear.

well............turds.

maybe I'll just go plug my memory boy back in and take a break for a while. :)

I've tried multiple times with the dual delay boards and always ended up removing them as they introduced too much noise for my liking.

Doesn't matter now as the ABDLX has essentially usurped my old Aquaboy. When I get it boxed up that is.
