Title: zero point sdx help
Post by: garfo on April 20, 2013, 07:44:58 PM
Hi, I've bulit my sdx and it works, but it's weird, only position two of the rotary switch puts out delay. On the other ones it will only make one repeat if the  Path switch is turned on.I experimented removing the lock from the rotary switch and I can find two more places where delay occurs, but I don't think this is the way it is supposed to be and they don't sound that different from each other either.

Well.I think I found out why.... :PP
The thing is I believe the 3p4t switch was soldered the other way arround. How should it look like once it is mounted, should I be able to read the numbers and the letters on the pcb??????

Hi Garfo !
I guess that you have soldered the rotary switch to the wrong side...take a look to the ZP build guide :

good luck  ;)

Indeed Sir, I'm afraid that's what happened.
Now I've broken the switch while trying to remove it...oh damn, these boards are sturdy as hell... :)
