Title: Quasar/RC Booster
Post by: micromegas on May 01, 2013, 09:24:39 AM
That's the 4th etched enclosue I've used, and I think I came out very nice.
It's a straight RC Booster version of the Quasar old project, charged with an LF353 because I actually broke one of the legs of the JRC4558 I ordered .... ;D

It really helps me pushing out singlecoils and does a real good work adding volume and definition to my beloved Ibanez AM400.
(Also helps to revitalize any OD if you put the RC after it in the chain: I've tested it with an old RAT, a Boss SD-1 and my Zendrive clone and it really does the work).

Those look nice. I thought those were silk screened until I remebered you said they were etched! Nice job.

thanks for the compliments. Silks screening is an interesting technique, but etching is way easier to me and it involves the use of acids which is kindda cool...
