Title: 3 delays in series....
Post by: micromegas on May 09, 2013, 02:57:42 PM
I've known of its existence for a while, but didn't pay too much attention to this delay until I listened to this:

I've done a little research and the manufacturer says it uses a compander like those used on analog echoes (like the aquaboy I think..). And I know there are out there some PT2399 based delays that use companders too.

Any guess on what this uses? I've heard some demos with guitar and the distortion increases with longer times just like in PT2399 delays..

I've investigated a little more and the manual says that they can be used either in parallel or in series.
and each independent delay has up to 800 ms

Compandor used (Confirmed by Ben on his forum): SA571...
Isn't it the one used by PT80 delay or GGG's SHEecho?
