I'm gearing up to etch 2 egodrivers (since there are two on the layout)

Should I etch on one full sized board with the transfer, then cut the board in half and clean afterwards? Or is it best to cut my transfer and boards down, clean them up, and then etch?

Or does it matter one bit?
