The D*A*M GB-83, easy fit in a 1590A.
Etch is of an Australian March Fly, (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horse-fly) Tabanidae (aka Horse Fly)- life size!
These ones drink blood!... really, Oz fearers, it's just a little sting... ;)

I added 22K to the 330K for a hotter Q1 bias- My layout:

Please use it- all I ask is that you post your finished build here. ;)

Though etching really is binary, I'm using and old school dot matrix (like old newspaper pics used to be) to create the illusion of greys...

Here's a buffer for One in, Four outs.
It's spanky clean and sounds very nice. It's based on a design I found in the "1 in 3 out" thread at BYOC, but I had to add an extra IC for 4 outs. (I used a TL074 & T071)
The artist in question is locally known as "Pirate Steve" (yes, like in Dodgeball...), hence the Jolly Roger.

And the layout, should you too wish to haul 4 amps to every gig too... :-\

More killer etchs Ben. Looks great. So I could build 3 more Champs and get up to 20w!
Awesome per the usual!
We've got plenty of those horse flies in the U.S. midwest, especially around lakes. They are vicious buggers. Their bite takes a nice size chunk of meat with it. Going under water with one on your back does nothing. I had one stay with me for 15+ seconds once. Those mechanized war machines are very hard to kill.

Amen to that. I had to contend with these bastards growing up in coastal NC as well. True enough, a bit does leave a visible hole in your flesh. And they will ride your back under water and bit you even if fully submersed. Even in salt water. :o
2 on the under water thing! I've smacked one hard with a flip flop and I swear it looked at with the stink eye and just got pissed! I went in the house at that point.
Last year one came in my garage while I was soldering and f'd with me literally for an hour. It finally bit me in the rib cage out in my yard....yes it followed me around the freakin yard!
I really need to learn how to etch, that looks amazing man

ROFLMA. I had one bite me through the top of my sneaker....
